Phill's Fly-Tying

I don't profess to be an expert at tying fly's. In actual fact I've only been tying fly's since November 1998 but I do consider that my fly's are as good as the kind you see displayed in the Fishing Tackle shops around the country. The only difference is that I haven't quite learnt how to tie wings for dry fly's yet, but they reckon once you master that you become a so called expert.

The reason I decided to make up this Website was that in all the fly-tying Websites around the world, and I've visited an awful lot, there doesn't appear to be one that includes the well known fly's that have been tried and tested killers, like the Butcher displayed above. So here within these web pages you'll find old patterns with instructions on how to tie them and hopefully a picture of what they look like.
