Materials:
Hook:

Silk: Brown
Tail: Brown Hackle Fibres
Body: Peacock Herl
Hackle: Brown Hen
Method:
- If required start by take the tying silk about ¼ of the way down the hook and tie in three turns of lead wire, then run the silk to the bend of the hook.
- Tie in at the bend to form a tail the brown hackle fibres followed by three or four peacock herl strands for the body.
- Wind the peacock herl strands to just behind the eye and secure.
- Secure the brown hen hackle fibres underneath and sloping well back, Trim any waste.
- Then form a neat head, whip finish, and varnish.
