Materials:

Hook: D/E sizes 8 or 10 LS

Silk: Colour as for Body

Tail: Marabou, Colour as for Body

Body: Chenille (White, Yellow, Olive, Black, Orange, Red)

Hackle: Cock or Hen Hackle, Colour as for Body

Method:

  1. Commence by running the tying silk to the bend of the hook and tie in the tail of Marabou.
  2. Tie in the Chenille and wind, thickening towards the eye of the hook, then tie off.
  3. Take the hackle and strip off the fluffy fibres, then tie in and make 3 or 4 turns and secure it.
  4. Form a neat head, whip finish and varnish.
